Role Overview: TimePlan Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant to join our team in Wantage, Oxfordshire. This role involves working across two KS2 classes, providing support to students and assisting teachers in creating an engaging and effective learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support learning activities in two KS2 classes, working closely with class teachers and KS2 phase leaders.
- Assist in running daily sessions and interventions to support individual student targets.
- Help implement the primary curriculum, adapting materials and activities to meet the needs of students.
- Foster positive and supportive relationships with students, encouraging their academic and personal growth.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Ideal Candidate:
- Knowledge of the primary curriculum.
- Enthusiastic and engaging, with a passion for working with children.
- Flexible and adaptable to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Experience in supporting learning and development in a primary school setting.
- Possess a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
