Position: UI/UX Designer
Salary: £40-65k
Location: Oxford Area, UK (Hybrid)
Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join a team focused on delivering intuitive and engaging digital experiences. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting user interfaces and experiences that are not only visually appealing but also highly functional and user-centric. You will collaborate with various teams, including product management and development, to ensure the designs meet both user needs and business objectives. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the design process, continually enhancing the user experience across web and mobile platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
User Research & Analysis: Conduct comprehensive user research through surveys, interviews, and usability tests to gather insights on user needs and behaviours.
Wireframing & Prototyping: Develop wireframes, storyboards, and interactive prototypes to visualise design concepts and user flows.
User Interface Design: Produce visually appealing and brand-consistent designs that deliver a seamless experience across digital platforms.
Interactive Elements: Design engaging interactive components and animations that enhance the overall user experience.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, including product and development, to ensure that design ideas are feasible and align with broader business objectives.
Design Standards: Help in building and maintaining a design framework that ensures consistency and efficiency across all projects.
Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest trends and innovations in UI/UX to continuously refine design practices and deliver top-tier solutions.

Skills:
- 2-5 years of experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch or Figma.
- Strong understanding of user-centred design principles.
- Experience with responsive and mobile-first design.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating polished, high-quality designs.
