Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with month-end processes, including bank reconciliations, credit card expenses and balance sheet reconciliations
- VAT returns and payment reconciliations
- Maintaining management information spreadsheets, collaborating with internal teams to ensure accuracy
- Posting accruals, prepayments and reallocating transactions
- Supporting budgeting processes and liaising with budget holders for forecasting and discrepancy analysis
- Profit and loss transactions
What you will need:
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as Assistant Accountant / Accountant / Senior Accounts Assistant / Assistant Management Accountant / Finance Assistant
- Experience with bank reconciliations, month-end processes and management accounts
- A genuine interest in finance, eager to learn and develop your skills
- A collaborative and initiative-based approach
- Strong Excel skills, ideally including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
- Ability to think critically, investigate issues independently, and find solutions.
