Job Title: Learning & Development Manager
Location: South Birmingham Salary: £46,000 - £50,000 per annum plus bonus Role: Permanent, Hybrid

Are you an experienced Learning & Development Manager who is truly passionate about driving professional growth and skill development? We are seeking a dynamic and creative HR professional to lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of innovative learning programmes.

This pivotal role involves working closely with the HR Director to align learning initiatives with our clients organisational goals, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement and success.

As a Learning & Development Manager for this market leader you will shape the future of their workforce by fostering a robust learning environment. This exciting opportunity will see you play a key role in guiding employees towards achieving their full potential.

Learning & Development Manager: Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation and delivery of engaging learning programmes, including induction and onboarding.
  • Design high-quality training materials and collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content relevance.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with external apprenticeship providers.
  • Mentor and manage a team of field-based regional trainers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources.
  • Oversee the maintenance and use of the Learning Management System (LMS) and enhance learning experiences through technology.
  • Monitor compliance training, keeping abreast of regulatory changes and updating materials accordingly.
  • Compile regular reports for the Senior Leadership Team on training progress.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient in LMS, e-learning tools, and other learning technologies
  • Demonstratable experience of learning and development design and implementation
  • Experience of leading, managing and mentoring a team
  • Adaptable and able to prioritise a broad range of duties whilst maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality
  • Broader HR understanding with a commitment to personal and professional development, equality and diversity policies, and health and safety practices

Please note: This is a hybrid role requiring three days a week at the office in South Birmingham, and occasional nationwide travel.
