Annual Salary:
£40,000 to £45,000 (DOE)
Weekly Shifts:
06.00 - 14.00 / 14.00 - 22.00 (rotating) early finish Fridays.

JOB SCOPE AND AIMS
Key duties revolve around installation of mechanical and electrical components on machines and offices. Maintenance of machines as well as troubleshooting and repairs whenever there is a breakdown.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedule and undertake periodic maintenance on all equipment, components, and installations.
- Responsible for PPM
- Installation of fresh mechanical and electrical components and fittings.
- Recommend replacement for old or faulty components or fittings to the management.
- Keep record of all stock and supplies, including company's equipment.
- Working in collaboration with the production team to formulate the best cost-effective manufacturing process.
- Perform energy audit and recommend alternative sources of energy.
- Ensure that all mechanical/electrical gadgets and instruments are switched off after close of work daily.
- Fix and maintain lighting fixtures and fittings.
- Troubleshoot machine breakdowns and provide preventive maintenance services.
- Learn new skills and attend training programs to increase knowledge of trends and best practices in the industry.
- Provide safe working environment for members of staff, and ensure electricity induced accidents and mishaps are prevented.
- Take steps to prevent fire outbreaks by making appropriate recommendations to management.
- Purchase fittings and components or supervise the staff charged with the responsibility.
- Supervise maintenance works when new projects are undertaken.
- Supervise and/or support contractor control onsite.
- Support the company in increasing profitability by managing resources efficiently and making necessary recommendations.
SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED
- Attainments Educated to GCSE level or equivalent with a C grade pass in Maths and English.
- Electrical Engineering Certification
- Maintenance Certification
- Experience Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in managing teams.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages
- Ability to supervise junior technicians and possesses a team spirit.
- A person who can quickly adapt to changes and learn new skills and techniques.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Must be computer literate.
- High level of honesty and integrity.
