  • Bristol, UKWe are working exclusively with a software and services provider that works within the education sector across the UK. Their aim is to produce high quality, innovative, constantly evolving software and deliver the expert services that their clients value.

About the job:

In this role you will be working with the Head of Business Development to generate revenue from installed base clients and managing the sales cycle to successful close.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identifying opportunities and managing the sales cycle
  • Writing proposals and selling solutions
  • Cold calling
  • Ensuring the CRM is up to date for each account
  • Liaising with clients and internal teams
  • Executing approved marketing campaigns
  • Taking responsibility for revenue generation of the workforce product set
  • Identifying and generating new leads
  • Seeking out and building professional relationships with new clients
  • Producing proposals and converting to deals
  • Providing weekly forecasts
  • Keeping an active, organised pipeline

You

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a business development role
  • Educated to degree level
  • Proven track record of hitting targets
  • Ability to sell products and services
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Ability to act on initiative
  • Leadership skills
  • Customer service skills
  • Ambitious and keen to succeed
  • Positive attitude focused on individual and team outcomes
  • Happy to travel - potentially internationally
