We are seeking a highly experienced M365 Engineer to join a dynamic IT team based in Aberdeen. As Senior M365 Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of the digital workplace by leveraging the full potential of Microsoft 365!
The role
- Monitor the performance and health of the Microsoft 365 environment, resolving any issues promptly.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and licenses, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- Setting up and maintaining policies
- Developing PowerShell scripts.
- Implementing security best practices to safeguard the M365 environment.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Developing knowledge of Azure, including setting up virtual workstations.
- Developing and maintaining technical documentation and procedures for Microsoft 365 operations.
The person
- Extensive experience with cloud technology
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365 including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Intune / Autopilot
- Knowledge of Microsoft Defender XDR / Defender for Endpoint
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and management of Microsoft 365 environments.
- Strong understanding of security and compliance within Microsoft 365.
- The ability to develop and maintain documentation
- Knowledge of Azure would be advantageous
- Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot would also be an advantage, however, full training will be provided
