A leading global Financial Software company are looking to recruit an experienced PMO Analyst to join their growing team based out of their Horsham offices. The Project Management Office Analyst acts as the information hub for internal & external projects and programs within the company's portfolio.

The PMO Analyst will facilitate project / large change retrospectives or other similar workshops and document the outcomes. Undertaking reviews of project artifacts to ensure that they are being produced and maintained in line with current processes.

Reviewing and enhancing project lifecycles by using analytics to report to Senior Management on metrics and ROI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure governance standards are maintained across the portfolio. This includes tracking, monitoring, and updating the status of key deliverables.
  • Establish and manage Lessons Learned repository.
  • Establish and manage the portfolio's risk register.
  • Provide data and metrics to support the monitoring of objectives & key results and key performance indicators across Delivery and Service functions.
  • Oversee the automation of data extraction and reporting operations to avoid knowledge silos and key-person dependencies.
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date financial tracking in relation to project deliverables.
  • Prepare consolidated portfolio reports for consideration by internal senior stakeholders who have activities feeding into the overall portfolio of work.
  • Prepare monthly One-Page client and project reports.
  • Organise workshops to identify ways of improvement for projects and change, documenting such improvements, and presenting them to senior managers.
  • You may be asked to be involved at a technical level in internal transformation and change initiatives.
  • Although this role does not have line management responsibilities, you may assist in supervising or coordinating the work of others.
  • In addition to the above, you will be expected to perform other reasonable duties which may be required from time to time.

Skills and experience:

  • General understanding of OKRs/KPIs.
  • Experience in working within a project environment.
  • Understanding of metrics used to analyse in-flight processes and measure improvement / degradation
  • Excellent communication skills - able present complex ideas and concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Comfortable in discussion with senior internal stakeholders.
  • Creative thinking and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Remains calm and objective under pressure.
  • Acts with integrity and enthusiasm

Technical experience:

  • In-depth data analysis experience.
  • Experience in using SQL or similar to extract data from system.
  • Ability to either write or define requirements for tools to support data extraction and analysis.

Desirable experience:

  • Some exposure to project management tools and techniques.
  • Previous PMO experience.
  • Evidence of continuous personal development.
