Shift Pattern: Rotating Shifts (6:00 AM to 2:00 PM / 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM)
**Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator with counterbalance and side loader licenses. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling metal products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for the safe movement of metal products, quality checks, and packaging based on customer requirements.
**Key Responsibilities
- Operate both counterbalance and side loader forklifts to transport metal materials within the facility.
- Load and unload metal parts, up to 4 meters in length, onto and off cutting machines.
- Ensure all materials are handled safely and securely, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
- Package metal products in accordance with customer requirements, ensuring precision and quality.
- Support warehouse operations, including stock management and preparation for dispatch.
- Conduct routine checks on forklift equipment and report any issues or maintenance needs.
**Essential Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance and Side Loader Forklift licenses.
- Experience handling and moving large metal products in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices in a metal-handling environment.
- Ability to perform quality checks on metal products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts (6:00 AM to 2:00 PM / 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM).
**Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in working within a production or manufacturing environment, particularly handling metal products.
