Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead manufacturing engineering activities across new and existing aerospace programmes.
  • Develop, improve and implement efficient manufacturing processes and methodologies.
  • Collaborate closely with design, quality, and production teams to ensure seamless production flow.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
  • Drive lean manufacturing, cost reduction and process optimisation initiatives.
  • Support the implementation of new technologies and advanced manufacturing techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing engineering role within the aerospace or high-precision engineering sector.
  • Strong understanding of machining, assembly, and production processes.
  • Familiarity with aerospace quality systems (AS9100, NADCAP etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
