Are you a Road Freight Import Operator? Would you be looking at a new challenge? We are recruiting for a reputable company based in West Bromwich.
The main duties will be:
- You will be dealing Road Freight- FTL / PTL / Groupage
- To run IT and ES import operations
- Dealing with road and import process start to finish.
- Liaising with hauliers, negotiating rates, preparing quotations
- Handling documentation including commercial invoices, DGN
- Dealing with trade lanes covering all of Europe.
The successful candidate will have the following skills:
- The ability to build strong relationships with clients.
- Excellent communication skills
- A good standard of educations
- A strong work ethic and an enthusiastic nature.
- The ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a thriving team is essential.
If you have the following skills it would be an advantage but not mandatory.
" Customs systems: CDS, NCTS, Sequoia, Destin8, CNS and GMR
" Wide range of entries including Home Use, IPR, OPR
" Working with Commodity Codes / Incoterms
" Raising IDR documents for import shipments.
