Role Overview:
As a Music Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding music education to secondary school students. Your passion for music and innovative teaching methods will inspire students to develop their musical abilities and understand the cultural significance of music.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct dynamic music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Tailor teaching methods to accommodate the diverse musical interests and abilities of students.
- Integrate a variety of musical genres and technology to enrich the learning experience.
- Evaluate student performances and provide feedback to foster musical growth.
- Collaborate with other music teachers to create a harmonious and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Degree in Music or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching music at the secondary level.
- A strong foundation in music theory and performance and a passion for teaching music.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a classroom effectively.
