Area Supervisor
looking to progress within a leading Commercial Explosive Manufacturer in the UK. This role will be covering Ayr to Glasgow and surrounding areas.

The Area Supervisor will be responsible for:
- To be the first point of contact on a designated site and to ensure all problems and enquiries are dealt with quickly and effectively involving the appropriate levels of management.
- To be responsible for the control and day to day on site supervision of the team onsite including Shotfirers and supporting the Drilling Team
- Ensuring that company standards in health, safety and legislation are maintained at all times
- To liaise with the Area Operations Manager and National Drilling Supervisor regarding staffing levels
- To attend company meetings as and when required
The Area Supervisor will need to have:
- NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Shotfiring Supervision (Ideally)
- Explosives Supervisor Certificate
- IOSH OR NEBOSH
- Full UK Driving License
- Experience working on a quarry in a similar position
