Sales Development Representative

  • Annual Salary: £29,000 + performance-related bonus

  • Job Type: Full-time Monday to Friday

My client based in Wolverhampton are seeking an Internal Sales Executive to join their team and play a pivotal role in supporting their sales efforts. This position is ideal for a motivated and results-driven individual with experience in lead generation or a similar role.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Review and actively manage a CRM database of live opportunities, ensuring leads are nurtured and converted.
  • Identify and target expiring maintenance contracts, offering renewals, upgrades, or conversions to ensure client retention.
  • Engage with lapsed customers to convert win-back maintenance contracts and re-establish relationships.
  • Conduct outbound calls to potential customers.
  • Qualify new business opportunities and schedule appointments for account managers.
  • Proactively research and generate new leads through prospecting activities.
  • Work closely with account managers to ensure smooth handover of leads and assist in developing targeting strategies.
  • Stay up to date with the latest products, services, and market trends to promote during calls.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, lead generation, or a similar role.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
