MEPH Contracts Manager

Our client is a well established, heritage M&E Contractor with an excellent reputation in the field with their primary projects in the high end residential.

Role: Contracts Manager - Mechanical bias

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £81,500 - £86,575 per annum

Responsibilities:

  • Confident in owning and running multiple projects from pre-construction to delivery
  • Capable of managing M&E Installation schemes up to £15 Million in value
  • Knowledge of electrical services building codes, and safety regulations
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, execute, and complete projects on time and within budget
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively lead project teams and liaise with clients and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse and solve complex problems in project execution
  • Collaborate with project teams to plan and coordinate the execution of works, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions to maintain smooth operations and mitigate risks
  • Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, negotiating with suppliers to achieve cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the project teams, assisting in resolving complex engineering challenges
  • Work closely with the commercial department to prepare and review budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports related to mechanical contracts
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and statutory regulations throughout the project life cycle

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction sector is essential.

A strong background in M&E engineering, with a comprehensive understanding of the industry's best practices.

Proactive and forward thinking with a readiness to help grow the business and who can possibly provide contacts and recommendations.
