Job Description:

We work with many schools across the whole of Lancashire and have some positions open in a range of different schools that are welcoming ECTs in with open arms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Assess, track, and report on student progress and attainment.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that promotes student well-being and learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices in teaching and learning.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and reflective practice to enhance teaching skills.
  • Engage with parents, carers, and the wider school community to support student achievement and well-being.
  • Adhere to school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

  • A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) with recent completion of teacher training.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their potential.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and adaptable approach to teaching and teamwork.
