Academics Ltd are working with a popular and thriving secondary school in Warrington who are seeking a dynamic and passionate Chemistry Teacher. This is a full-time position starting in September 2024. This position is likely to continue for the remainder of the academic year.
The school are looking to appoint a Chemistry specialist but it's essential this Chemistry Teacher has the ability to teach all sciences.
Your main responsibilities as a Chemistry Teacher
- Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive Chemistry lessons to students across all key stages in line with the curriculum
- Ability to teach other Sciences across KS3 and KS4
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that inspires' students curiosity and critical thinking
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons to ensure student progress
To work as a Chemistry Teacher through Academics, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching Chemistry within a secondary school setting
- Ability to teach other Sciences
- Strong Classroom management skills and effective communication
