As part of our continued growth we are looking for a new Trainee estimator to join our team. This is a key role for the future of the business and presents the right candidate with excellent progression opportunities to a senior leadership role in the business.

Role Overview:
Learning the Basics: Understanding the fundamentals of Building Management Systems (BMS), including components, functionalities, and applications.
Site Visits: Accompanying experienced estimators to understand project requirements, gather measurements, and identify potential challenges.
Data Collection: Assisting in collecting and organizing data related to project specifications, equipment, labour costs, and material prices.
Quotation Preparation: Under supervision, contributing to the preparation of cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontract costs.
Software Proficiency: Developing skills in using estimation and BMS-specific software tools.
Technical Knowledge: Gaining knowledge of different BMS systems, their components, and installation processes.
Problem-Solving: Assisting in identifying potential issues or challenges in project plans and suggesting solutions.
Report Writing: Contributing to the creation of clear and concise estimation reports.
