Business Analyst
Duration: 6-months
Day Rate: £450-£500 Outside IR35
Location: Northamptonshire
We are seeking a highly talented Business Analyst to be at the forefront of executing a large-scale digital transformation programme (2years) with one of our banking clients.
In this role, you will be a vital part of the digital transformation team, you'll be defining business and functional requirements. You will be responsible for developing strong relationships with stakeholders, gaining a deep understanding of the business's challenges and opportunities, and acting as a Product Owner throughout the change lifecycle.
Experience Required:
- Strong technical knowledge of core banking.
- Experience of managing and working with multiple third parties.
- Extensive experience in end-to-end digital transformations in the banking sector.
- Delivery of significant digital transformation projects with budgets exceeding £5 million.
- Ability to manage and oversee projects from the initial planning stages through to full implementation.
- Expertise in digitalising banking operations in order to effectively challenge suppliers and technical teams.
- Deep knowledge of core banking and related functions, ideally with experience of digital banking platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Management of complex business and functional requirements using Capability / Epic / Feature / Story hierarchies.
- Plan and execute workshops with both in-person and remote attendees to analyse and define requirements.
- Collaborate with the UX team and business stakeholders to define user journeys mapped to feature sets.
- Build credibility with senior stakeholders, managing complex environments and facilitating agreement and buy-in.
- Identify, manage, and report project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies (RAID) and work with project managers to mitigate them.
- Manage shifting priorities, demands, and timelines with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
