Role Snapshot

We're seeking an Entry-Level Junior Project Manager to join our Project Management Office (PMO). You'll partner with senior PMs to oversee small-scale projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure deliverables meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Plan & Track: Build and maintain detailed project plans (Gantt charts, roadmaps) and update timelines.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate status meetings, prepare progress reports, and escalate risks or issues.
  • Resource Coordination: Align team members, track task ownership, and follow up on action items.
  • Budget Monitoring: Assist in tracking project budgets and forecasting spend against deliverables.
  • Quality Control: Support UAT cycles, collect feedback, and confirm deliverables meet defined criteria.
  • Process Optimization: Help refine PMO templates, checklists, and best practices.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, IT, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, with a knack for stakeholder engagement.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project, Excel, or similar planning tools (or eagerness to learn).
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Basic understanding of project lifecycles; any exposure to Agile/Scrum is a plus.

What You'll Get

  • Salary: £30,000-£34,000 per annum.
  • Flexible Working: Hybrid model—split time between our Manchester office and home.
  • Career Progression: Structured pathway to Project Manager (within 18-24 months) with dedicated mentorship.
  • Learning Support: £1,000/year for PRINCE2, Agile Foundation, or other professional certifications.
  • Team Culture: Regular "lunch & learns," peer coaching, and social events.
  • Impact: Play a key role in delivering high-visibility projects for household-name clients.
