Reputable Central London law firm are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Commercial Litigation Solicitor to head up and run their well-established and busy litigation department. This is a full-time, permanent role with potential for hybrid working. The firm are looking for a candidate with solid litigation experience, excellent leadership skills and a proven track record in handling complex commercial disputes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Commercial Litigation department, overseeing a team of solicitors, paralegals and support staff
- Handle a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, corporate disputes, business disputes, various injunctions and insolvency-related litigation
- Provide strategic advice to clients, ensuring their interests are effectively represented
- Mentor and develop junior members of the team, providing support and guidance to enhance their professional growth
- Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory and legal standards within the department
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business
- Participate in business development activities to attract new clients and generate new business for the firm
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A qualified solicitor with a minimum of 4 years PQE in commercial litigation
- Proven experience in managing complex commercial litigation cases with excellent knowledge of diverse laws and relevant procedures
- Demonstrable leadership and management experience
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills
- Ability to work under pressure, manage a high-volume caseload, and meet deadlines
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong analytical and decision-making skills
- A commitment to providing high-quality legal services and upholding the firm's reputation
