The Role:

They are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher to join their team from September 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to their KS2 pupils, ensuring each child is supported to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners in accordance with the National Curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages pupils' participation and enthusiasm for learning.
  • Assess, monitor, and record pupils' progress, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable targets.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the development of the curriculum.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers to support pupils' well-being and academic progress.
  • Participate in school activities, events, and continuous professional development opportunities.

About you:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in teaching Key Stage 2.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to raising standards and pupil outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • A reflective practitioner who is dedicated to continuous improvement and professional development.
