Our client, a leading company in the construction sector, is on the lookout for a Transport Compliance Manager on a permanent or contract basis. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth transition following the departure of the current Head of Fleet Compliance. Based out of the main Harefield office with hybrid working options, this role involves travel across Essex, Kent, and Surrey.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the compliance of the vehicle fleet with relevant regulations.
- Managing and leading a team of 4 transport managers and 1 administrative staff member.
- Ensuring seamless operations and compliance with regulations across Southern Water areas, extending from Kent to the Isle of Wight.
- Conducting investigations and liaising with the legal team when necessary.
- Preparing and submitting compliance reports.
Job Requirements
- Significant experience in transport planning within the construction sector.
- Experience in a senior management role overseeing a team.
- Understanding of fleet compliance and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work from the main office in Harefield with some hybrid working and travel.
- Proficiency in managing compliance operations for a diverse geographical area.
