Commercial Property Solicitor/Legal Executive (5+ PQE)

We are looking for a Commercial Property Lawyer to manage a varied caseload of general commercial property transactions and landlord and tenant matters. The successful candidate will provide legal advice and support to clients, work on their own initiative, and seek business development opportunities to further expand the client base.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Manage a varied general commercial property caseload.
  • Advise on landlord and tenant matters and all related commercial property work.
  • Undertake legal research to provide accurate, up-to-date legal advice while maintaining the highest level of client service.
  • Draft and negotiate legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and leases.
  • Conduct due diligence on behalf of clients to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Assist more senior lawyers with complex transactions, building knowledge and skills.
  • Work as part of a team, assisting colleagues for the benefit of clients.
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills, ensuring client matters are progressed effectively and files are kept in good order.
  • Take responsibility for achieving individual time and billing targets, managing a varied caseload with flexibility to changing demands.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and third parties through effective communication and resolution of issues to move transactions forward.
  • Ensure smooth operation of the case management system.
  • Stay up-to-date with legal developments in commercial property law.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Solicitor/Legal executive with experience in commercial property law.
  • Proven ability to manage a varied caseload and meet billing targets.
  • Strong legal research, drafting, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and third parties.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
