MORTGAGE & PROTECTION ADVISOR – Residential Lettings Agency
Location: Southampton, SO15
Salary: OTE £60k
Position: Permanent – Full Time
This is a superb opportunity for a practicing, qualified and experienced Mortgage & Protection Advisor to join an established Financial Services Company with offices in the Southampton area.
Our client specialises in providing outstanding mortgage advice to customers of its' sister Estate Agency group – a market leading local firm.
This dynamic business thrives on delivering a very personal service; It also means the Advisor is working in a "Hot Lead" environment and always busy!
The successful candidate must have previous or recent experience as Mortgage Adviser, have good all-round technical knowledge, a proven track record in the mortgage industry and be fully CeMAP (or equivalent) qualified.
Candidates who have Competent Advisor Status (CAS) will be considered preferentially.
Skills: The skills required for this Mortgage & Protection Advisor role will include:
- Thorough knowledge of the mortgage marketplace
- Currently involved in providing mortgage services and advice
- CeMAP (or equivalent) qualified
- Skilled at cross selling opportunities
- Smart & well-presented
- Excellent telephone manner and superb inter-personal skills
- Ambitious and self-motivated
- The ability to thrive in a pressurised environment
- Previous experience in the property sector helpful
- Full UK driving license and own car
- CAS essential
