We have a new job opportunity for a German speaking eCommerce Executive to join a successful online company with an extensive, specialist product range that is available on all eCommerce platforms across the world.

LANGUAGES
Fluency in German & English is essential

LOCATION
Harlow, Essex ( 30 minutes NE of London). 4 days a week in the office, 1 day remote (after probation)

COMPANY BACKGROUND
Our client is a very well established successful online company with an extensive, specialist product range that is available on all eCommerce platforms across the world.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of their global, multilingual digital marketing, your role as German speaking eCommerce Executive will be to develop and drive sales growth of their online German speaking sales markets. Your job will typically cover the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the day-to-day onsite merchandising of the German language websites
  • Managing the translated editorial content for the German language platforms
  • Updating of German and International homepages to create a professional look and feel
  • Optimising the website menus, banners and site search
  • Optimising the copy to convert as many customers as possible
  • Optimising the email content to maximise customer retention
  • Translating product page description for the website and Creative Station
  • Establishing Germany's promotional calendar - key trading, national days in Germany etc.

CANDIDATE BACKGROUND, SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

  • Fluency in German & English is essential
  • Ideally educated to University level in a subject relevant to the job (marketing, eCommerce, business etc)
  • Previous experience in a similar e-commerce marketing role
  • Strong understanding of the German market, culture and language
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Highly organised, detail orientated and able to work to tight deadlines
  • Experience of using a content management system
  • Experience using Google Analytics or other Analytics package
  • Experience in Wordpress
  • Good knowledge of HTML
  • Good Photoshop skills

SALARY, BENEFITS & WORKING HOURS
£25,000 - £30,000 (Negotiable). Monday - Friday 8.15am - 4.45pm
