Up to £28,000 plus benefits

This is s super opportunity to get your foot in the door with an esetablished business and into a developing HR role. Working in the HR team for a large manufacturing organisation, the main initial focus of the role is to look after the wellbeing initiatives and monitor absence, however, being a small HR team, there is the opportunity to get involved in a lot more when colleagues need an additional hand, or there are holidays in the team.

For this role, you will be responsible for working closely with managers and the HR team to deliver well being programmes, this could be from simple themed days on site, to scheduling in well being health checks for employees, to full well being days and initiatives.

This post also will be responsible for logging absence or sickness and recording paperwork and doctors notes as well as taking notes at meetings in instances such as long term absence. You will also conduct welfare calls and provide guidance on what support available to employees, with the support of your manager.

For this role you will be studying towards CIPD level 3 or have some (even if minimal) HR experience in an administration capacity. You will be able to work to deadlines, have strong communications skills and be eager to learn and work within HR. Please note this is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days in the office per week, and two from home.
