We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Trade Development Manager to join the Commercial department. Overseeing the East & West Mediterranean Trade department on behalf of the Trade Development Manager. Day-to-day supervision of the department with an emphasis on leading, motivating and developing the team. Manage own workload and ensure that the team members are motivated, trained and engaged at all times so that they provide excellent service at all times. Ensure excellent communication is maintained with other parts of the business and MSC Geneva.

How you will help us and what you can expect
- Support the Trade Development Manager to maximise growth opportunities for the Trade
- Organise and hold one to one meetings and team meetings
- Define & review individual performance contracts and in conjunction with MSC standards.
- Develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours of team members
- Build close relationships with origin agents and MSC Geneva Liners
- Maintain a close working relationship with other parts of the business on behalf of the dept.
- Assist with any reports, statistics, analysis and market research
- Ensure training and competency plans are in place for each member of staff and monitor in line with performance development reviews
