Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor who is passionate about both advanced technology and traditional machinery. Joining our dynamic and forward-thinking team at our established site in the Jewellery Quarter, you will be instrumental in the future development and support of the site, supporting the business to implement our continuous improvement strategy.

In this role, you will lead a team responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of our diverse equipment, which ranges from state-of-the-art machinery to classic systems, ensuring it is in good condition and operating at peak efficiency. You will also be leading your small friendly team of maintenance operatives to carry out planned and reactive maintenance duties of the site and plant.

You will be proactive and 'hands on' in all maintenance activity including Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), defect and risk management, breakdowns, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and project engineering work.

What you'll need to bring to the show:

- Proven experience in a maintenance supervisory or similar role.
- A background in a trade profession.
- A proven track record of managing the maintenance of buildings, machinery and equipment, ideally in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Familiarity with CMMS software and maintenance best practices.
- The flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs.
- Knowledge of industrial processes such as casting, rolling, annealing and CNC machining.
- Technical skills and knowledge for electrical, mechanical, automation and building services.
- Qualifications in relevant technical field (e.g., engineering, maintenance management).
