We are now looking for a Communications & Media Executive to join us on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

As a Communications & Media Executive, you'll work on enhancing our presence and engagement across our communications channels, amplifying our organisation's initiatives and achievements.

You'll produce real-time content at key events, deliver communications campaigns and create engaging social media content for the whole organisation. You'll also handle media inquiries and manage press releases, maintaining strong media relationships.

Monitoring social media interactions, you will ensure the delivery of consistent, impactful communications that align with our strategic objectives and strengthen our public image.

Additionally, you will:

- Manage social media content scheduling and publishing
- Create and publish original, high-quality written and visual social media content
- Advise colleagues and members on social media best practice
- Manage the social media inbox
- Produce weekly and monthly reports on relevant metrics and implement data-driven improvements

About You

To be considered as our Communications & Media Executive, you will need:

- A track record of exploring new techniques to enhance social media content and engagement
- Demonstrable proficiency in managing and enhancing social media platforms to create compelling content
- Proficiency in digital design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Photoshop
- Skills in creating and editing short video content for social platforms like Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
- The ability to apply analytics tools to evaluate and report on the effectiveness of communication campaigns and social media strategies
- Excellent writing and visual communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organisational and time management skills
- A degree-level education or equivalent professional experience

Please note, the successful candidate must be willing and able to undertake occasional travel to attend relevant events. This may require overnight stays.
