Description
- Manage and maintain the accounts receivable ledger
- Create and issue invoices to clients
- Monitor customer accounts for late payments, report significant issues to management
- Engage in credit control activities to ensure timely payment of invoices
- Conduct credit checks on potential clients
- Collaborate with the finance team and other stakeholders
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
Profile
A successful 'Credit Controller' should have:
- A degree in finance, accounting or a related field
- A strong understanding of credit control procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and reconciliation skills
- A proactive approach to problem-solving
