Change Recruitment are delighted to be working with a specialist manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Weston-super-Mare to recruit a commercially focussed Finance Manager. Looking after a small team and reporting into the group CFO you will be responsible for the sites financial reporting as well as offering strategic and budgetary support as a key member of the senior management level.
Duties for this role include:
- Management of the accounting function, to include managing and mentoring a small team
- Preparation and presentation of weekly financial reports and monthly management accounts to the senior management team, providing analysis and commentary
- Manage the annual budgeting process and future strategic development of the business
- Input into the year end audit process and liaise with the company auditors.
- Complete all regulatory reporting to statutory bodies.
- Monitoring gross margins/contributions with focus on optimising sales mix.
- Monitor working capital management, with particular focus on inventory, credit management and cashflow.
- Generate the necessary financial information that will highlight profit potential and/or inefficiencies.
This is a commercially focussed finance role where you will have significant input into the strategic development of the business as it continues its growth trajectory. As such the successful candidate will need to be qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA with experience working within a manufacturing environment.
In return this role offers a competitive salary of £55k - £65k, 24 days holiday, bonus scheme and a generous company pension.
