Job Description:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Carers to join our team. As a Health Carer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in various care home settings. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the physical and emotional well-being of the residents, promoting their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive and caring environment.
  • Administer medications and assist with medical procedures under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor and record residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate staff.
  • Ensure a clean and safe living environment by following infection control procedures and maintaining hygiene standards.
  • Support residents in participating in recreational activities and social events.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of care provided.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a care home or healthcare setting is preferred.
  • A caring and empathetic nature with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Relevant certifications or training in healthcare assistance is an advantage.
