  • Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 per annum (M2-M6 pay scale)

Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with students who have special educational needs, tailoring your teaching methods to support their individual learning requirements. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and collaborating with other professionals to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Experience with students aged 11-16 is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support during lessons and activities.
  • Support students with personal care tasks (toileting, feeding, mobility).
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to support student development.
  • Maintain a safe and organized classroom

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with individuals with special educational needs preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or (QTLS)
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with diverse learners.
  • Willingness to undergo relevant training and professional development.
