Project Manager (3-Month Contract)

Are you a seasoned Project Manager with a knack for overseeing complex technical projects? We're on the lookout for a highly skilled and experienced Temporary Project Manager to join our team for a 3-month contract. In this role, you'll take the lead in managing a large technical project involving LED screen installations, ensuring its successful delivery while collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
The role will encompass travel to client events.
About the Role:
- Leading and managing a large technical project involving LED screen installations from inception to completion. (Understanding LED screens not essential)
- Coordinating resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
- Collaborating with internal teams, such as technical, sales, and operations, to align project activities with company objectives and client expectations.
- Liaising with external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors, to ensure smooth project delivery and address any issues or concerns.
- Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and timelines, monitoring progress and adjusting plans as needed to meet project goals.
- Conducting regular site visits and inspections to oversee work progress, identify potential risks or obstacles, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Providing regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders on project status, milestones, and key performance indicators.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Fostering a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and accountability among project team members.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the AV, events, or technology industry, or be willing to learn the AV knowledge.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and oversee complex technical projects from start to finish.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed and work flexible hours to accommodate project requirements.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach to project challenges.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software applications.
