What you'll do
- Act as the technical lead to a team of engineers working cross-functionally in an agile environment
- Be a top-notch coder and an expert in the domain, capable of deep diving into implementation details of components and features across the technology stacks
- Be at the forefront of significant technology initiatives from inception to successful deployment
- Help shape the technical direction and the improvement of tools and processes across the department
- Take ownership of code quality and upkeep of front end repositories
- Help lead our front end developers community of practice
- Lead and mentor developers
What you'll bring
- An extensive client-side JavaScript experience
- Detailed knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, in particular React
- Excellent HTML and CSS knowledge
- Experience with GraphQL and TypeScript would be beneficial
- Ideally some experience with Java
- Experience following coding standards and performing peer code reviews
- Experience with CI pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools
- Experience leading small to medium-sized software engineering teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
