Removals Operations Assistant

This role is crucial to the effectiveness of our removals operations, offering a hands on experience that requires flexibility, commitment, and a proactive approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a primary contact for internal and external stakeholders via email, phone, and in person, ensuring queries are promptly addressed.
Prepare and manage paperwork, including closing down removal files and processing damage reports.
Administer orders, including crates and overnight accommodations for road crews, ensuring smooth logistics.
Manage daily allocations for road crews using Moveware and assist with generating purchase orders for subcontractors.
Collaborate with other departments, providing information, project support, and handling queries as needed.
Maintain close communication with warehouse operatives to ensure materials are prepared and available daily.
Provide holiday and absence cover within the department.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong problem solving abilities and the capability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Excellent organizational skills, with keen attention to detail and a professional demeanour.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently when required.
