A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced manager to join an international not-for-profit organisation, as Head of Operations on a full or part-time, permanent basis.
Main duties will include:
- Overseeing Finance, IT, Facilities and HR functions
- Managing relationships with external providers
- Manage tenders and contract renewals
- Financial management, including budgeting
- Oversee recruitment, training and development
- Strategic operational planning, focussing on facilities
- Update policies and present to Directors where appropriate
The successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrable experience in an operational management capacity
- Experience working with not-for-profit or academic sectors preferred
- Financial management experience
- Facilities management experience desirable
- Effective communicator
- Flexibility to work outside of normal hours when required
- Excellent people management skills
- A passion for sustainability essential
