Business Support Coordinator on a permanent basis. HYBRID working 2 days from home and 3 in office. £25,000 - £30,000k. Central London Join a leading independent charity based in London, dedicated to advancing research and treatment for childhood conditions as a Business Support Coordinator.

This fantastic organisation supports clinicians and professionals worldwide through collaboration with international membership organisations.

Objective: Seeking a highly organised and proactive Business Support Coordinator to manage the financial and office administration of the publishing division. The ideal candidate will provide excellent support for our business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

  • Assist with financial accounting, including basic payments and receipts.
  • Produce accurate and timely financial reports.
  • Coordinate closely with team members and an external bookkeeper.
  • Manage the royalty payments process.

Office Admin and Management:

  • Coordinate and manage office supplies, cleaning, and maintenance.
  • Handle maintenance issue reporting and resolution.
  • Advise on cost-effective office suppliers.
  • Regularly archive paper and online records.
  • Organise and arrange new office furniture as needed.
  • Promptly and professionally respond to customer inquiries via email and telephone.
  • Provide support for arranging travel, including booking and scheduling.
  • Handle all aspects of book orders, including fulfilment, invoicing, customer liaison, and tracking.
  • Oversee stock movements and valuations
  • Assist in arranging meetings, including room bookings, catering, and taking minutes.
  • Provide assistance with various other administrative tasks as required.

Role Profile:

  • Confident and accurate in managing financial tasks, with some bookkeeping experience preferred.
  • Strong numeracy skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to support team members effectively.
  • Self-motivated with exceptional organisational skills.
