Here at Wisbech, we have a team of 450 colleagues and manufacture premium chilled ready to cook meals for major retailers such as Asda and Co-op.
What you'll be doing
Line Server - 4 on 4 off 07:00am-19:00pm at £12.42 per hour.
As a Line Server you will be responsible for getting all of the mixtures in eurobins to the production line ready for the product to be distributed into pots. You'll be ensuring due diligence is followed and have a right first-time approach. As part of your role, you will be ensuring the team are working to their maximum potential as well as ensuring that the machinery is working consistently and correctly.
Duties of this role include:
- Operating the machines in line with related safety and quality procedures
- Responsible for monitoring production to help attain KPIs for productivity and efficiency.
- Asses and report anomalies and issues
- Organize workflow on the line to support daily production targets
- Work as part of a team to attain safety & performance KPI's
- Willing to learn several machinery roles to be part of a multi-skilled team
- This role will entail minimum of 10KG lifting.
What we're looking for
- Be comfortable heavy lifting and pushing eurobins with product
- Good level of English & Maths
- Basic understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene
- Ability to work unsupervised.
