This thriving South Wales manufacturer has an enviable reputation for design excellence and is a supplier of choice for many of the worlds leading equipment manufacturers. They are currently looking to recruit another Graduate Engineer to further strengthen their Product Development function.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Based in the Design and Development team, your main focus will be on product Simulation and Test.
  • This will involve the Simulation of Mechanical behaviour of components, using Ansys.
  • Operating and contributing to the maintenance of several test rigs.
  • Use CFD to simulate hot gas and liquid flow in fluid transfer components.
  • Support design decisions for new products based upon simulation and test results.
  • Interpretation of experimental performance data to aid prediction and correlation.
  • Occasionally travel to customer sites.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Degree Qualified in Mechanical or similar
  • Good knowledge of fluid mechanics
  • FEA and CFD would be advantageous.
