Position: Behaviour Mentor
Contract and Start Date: Temporary, Full-Time, Starting ASAP
Minimum Rate of Pay: £86.40 per day (rate depends on experience and hours)
Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, term-time only

A Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) Pupil Referral Unit in Sutton Coldfield is looking for an experienced Behaviour Mentor to join their dedicated support staff team. This provision supports Key Stage 2 and 3 students with social, emotional, mental health, and behavioural needs. The school places a strong emphasis on sports and physical activity, making it a great fit for individuals with a background in sports.

Due to the close-knit nature of this school, they are seeking someone who can seamlessly integrate into their supportive team. The right candidate will bring energy, motivation, and additional skills to help students achieve positive outcomes.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience working with special educational needs (professional or personal)
  • Passion for education and support

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with students, staff, and families
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training within the last year
