Piper Maddox is looking for an Senior Software Engineer for an innovative start-up focused on revolutionizing the logistics industry's approach to reducing CO2 emissions. They are developing a groundbreaking battery-solar system to power refrigeration units, with a mission to combat the staggering 50,000,000 tonnes of yearly CO2 emissions from refrigerated trailers. With over four years of dedicated effort, they are on the brink of bringing their game-changing product to market.
The role:
- Optimizing cloud infrastructure and building cloud the cloud management and reporting system, which is hosted in Azure.
- Designing, building, and implementing APIs to facilitate seamless integration with our cloud infrastructure and refrigeration units (TRUs).
- Conception, development and implementation of Frontend software solutions - Typescript and react
- Provide ongoing development and optimisation support for existing software.
What We Are Looking For:
- Minimum 4 years of commercial software development experience, with expertise in Python.
- Proficiency in Cloud-based solutions - Azure
- Experience with TypeScript/React is preferred.
- Understanding of time-series data and structured databases.
- Familiarity with virtualization and containerization technologies, such as Docker.
- Knowledge of C++ is advantageous.
