Churchill Howard are excited to be working with a well-respected, listed Midlands organisation in their search for a Commercial Analyst.
The Role:
- Drive commercially-beneficial decisions for the business, taking into account financial and non-
financial aspects.
- Support the annual business planning process.
- Understand non-financial data cost drivers and work with the business to ensure integrity of
data feeding into reporting.
- Ensure recharge rates are correct for jobs or projects charged to IRE/Capex.
- Conduct detailed analysis on emerging risks and opportunities, variances and other areas of
interest.
- Prepare credible monthly forecasts for areas of accountability, ensuring the financial
consequences of planned outputs are correctly reflected and balanced.
- Create and deliver engaging presentations.
Desired Experience/Qualifications:
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or equivalent.
- Ability to articulate a position and make recommendations that enable leadership teams to
make strategic and operational decisions based on reliable and accurate information.
- Comfortable not only advising, but constructively challenging senior stakeholders.
