My busy client, based in Tonbridge, are looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. The role will include; fault finding and repair of machinery, servicing, general maintenance and electrical/mechanical machine maintenance.
You will have extensive knowledge of mechanical machine maintenance/repair and possess the ability of a good fitter, a limited knowledge of electrical maintenance is useful, along with knowledge of AutoCAD.
You will be assisting the production department by maintaining high levels of equipment efficiency and availability, solving or reducing the impact of any operational problems in the workplace. Carrying out a systematic preventative/predictive maintenance programme and ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
The successful candidate will have:
- Ability to understand drawings
- Some machining experience
- Basic welding and fabrication skills
- A positive can do attitude
- The ability to learn and take in information
