Job Description: As a Senior Lab Technician, you will have the opportunity to inspire and guide the next generation of scientists and innovators. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and maintaining the school's science laboratories and equipment.
- Assisting teachers and students in conducting experiments and investigations.
- Demonstrating proper lab techniques and safety procedures to students.
- Preparing and organizing lab materials, chemicals, and equipment for classes.
- Collaborating with science faculty to develop and improve lab experiments.
- Providing technical support during science-related extracurricular activities and events.
- Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the school's science facilities.
- Maintaining accurate records of lab supplies and equipment inventory.
- Assisting in the setup and cleanup of experiments and laboratory spaces.
Requirements: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
- Previous experience working in a school or educational environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, safety procedures, and equipment operation.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Passion for education and the ability to engage and inspire students.
- Ability to work effectively with both students and educators.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and orderly laboratory environment.
- Adaptability and a willingness to support the diverse needs of a school community.
