**Position:**Year 1 Primary Teacher

Start Date: September 2024

Job Type: 1-3 Terms

Location: Telford

Salary: £140 - £180 per day

Can you inspire young minds with an engaging teaching style? Dunbar Education is seeking a committed Year 1 Primary Teacher with a sound knowledge of the Primary Curriculum to join their team.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and inspire Year 1 pupils
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Implement school policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with educational standards
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities

Requirements for this role include:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably in Year 1
  • Strong understanding of the Year 1 curriculum and child development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to pupil success
