In-house Commercial Solicitor role
FMCG / Retail sector
East Midlands HQ (2-3 days a week in the office max)
Salary c.60-65k - 2+ years pqe with experience of commercial contracts
We are working exclusively with a major European business with a portfolio of brands across the retail and FMCG space looking to hire an in-house commercial solicitor.
Working as part of the European Group function, supported by 2 others in the UK legal team you will get access to a range of commercial work, interesting projects in a dynamic industry
Supported by a more experienced in-house lawyer you will draft, negotiate and advise on a range of commercial agreements and contracts across sales, procurement, marketing, IP, regulation, advertising etc
You will also have the opportunity to develop experience of wider company law, corporate and company secretarial matters as well as instructing external counsel as necessary.
We are keen to hear from commercial solicitors with 2+ years PQE keen to join a market leading business and make a difference.
You will be comfortable handling a range of commercial agreements having worked as part of another in-house team or perhaps in practice with ideally some secondment exposure.
You will also help support/coach the paralegal in the team.
Progression path is clear and this is an excellent platform to grow, add value and be recognised.
2-3 days in the office max, with the rest WFH, East Midlands HQ - commutable from Leicester, Derby Nottingham, Birmingham.
