Role: Sales Coordinator

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum

Hours: 8:30 - 17:00 Monday - Friday
Our client based in Ponteland are looking to fill a position for an internal Sales coordinator.
The ideal candidate will have some electrical background and will be willing to learn our product range particularly cut-out products, there will also be a requirement to understand our Feeder Pillar offering and electrical panels.
Experience in dealing with customers and handling telephone calls and preparing quotations would be advantageous, General computer experience including Microsoft office, excel and outlook are essential. The typical day to day tasks is as follows...
- Taking customer calls regarding cut-outs, pillars and occasionally panels.
- Quoting customers based on their requirements.
- Liaising with customers regarding projects, lead times, delivery updates and technical assistance.
- Working with the design team to price/quote projects.
- Coding orders ready to be loaded on to operations.
- Keeping a good relationship with customers regarding aftercare (returns, tech support, reorders) etc...
- Working alongside our external Sales team to ensure lead times are being met and customers are receiving what they need when they need it.
- Project take-off's (turning schematics in to functioning quotes).
