We're looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to take on the role of Sales & Purchase Ledger Clerk in the south of Leeds! In this role you will have the opportunity to work as a part of a professional and experienced accounting team.
Day to day you will be expected to carry out such roles as Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Credit Control duties, having a strong attention to detail in data entry and updating the database, providing administrative support to the accounting team, have a clear and confident phone presence and also be able to assist with journals, VAT and bank reconciliations.
If this sounds like a role that would suit you, you will need the following to be considered:
- Competent in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
- Great organisational skills.
- At least 1 year experience in Purchase Ledger / Sales Ledger as well as Credit Control experience.
- Payroll experience is an advantage.
- The ability to work individually as well as within a team.
- Excellent communication skills both inter-personally and over the phone.
- Strong attention to detail when inputting data.
